India Energy Week 2026: A Blueprint for Global LNG and Storage Growth

The fourth edition of India Energy Week (IEW), held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, is set to be the nation’s largest and most influential energy gathering to date. Scheduled for late January 2026 in Goa, the summit arrives at a critical juncture as India accelerates its transition toward a gas-based economy, aiming to increase the share of natural gas in its energy mix from 6% to 15% by 2030.
For midstream and storage professionals, IEW 2026 offers an unparalleled look at the infrastructure required to support this growth. The event will feature a massive LNG Ecosystem Zone, focusing on regasification terminals, cryogenic storage solutions, and the development of a national gas grid. Beyond traditional hydrocarbons, the Hydrogen Pavilion—curated in partnership with the India Energy Storage Alliance—will showcase the latest in green hydrogen production and specialized storage hubs. With over 75,000 attendees expected, this event is the primary gateway for global technology providers looking to enter the world’s fastest-growing energy market.
