The 2026 API Winter Exploration and Production Standards Meeting is an essential gathering for professionals dedicated to the development and maintenance of the standards that govern the global oil and natural gas industry. Taking place in Austin, Texas, from January 26–30, this technical meeting is open to all interested parties and serves as a vital platform for the Committee on Standardization of Oilfield Equipment and Materials (CSOEM).

With approximately 400 standards under its purview—including those that form the bedrock of the API Monogram Program—the CSOEM subcommittees will meet to discuss critical advancements in Subsea Structures, Well Control Equipment, Tubular Products, and Supply Chain Management. For midstream and storage operators, participating in these sessions offers direct influence on the future of upstream standards, ensuring that infrastructure remains safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible. Attendees will also gain access to the latest API-sponsored R&D activities and have the opportunity to network with a global community of manufacturers, quality management professionals, and end-users.
